About me

I recently graudated with my Ph. D. in Condensed Matter Physics from The Ohio State University. For my thesis research in The Lemberger Lab I studied electronic transport properties of high Tc superconductors. I fabricated thin films of YBa2Cu3O7-x by coevaporation using the BaF process.
[evaportor] The evaporator has one e-beam and three thermal sources
[evaportor] Films are also fabricated in the Lemberger lab by RF sputtering. The red glow is a heater with the substrate on it and the purple and white glow is the plasma around the sputtering target.

I received my B. S. from the Applied and Engineering Physics Department at Cornell University in Ithaca NY. While an undergraduate, I worked in Prof. David Hammer's lab.

I enjoy rock climbing, hiking, and camping. I also like to present science topics to children in the elementary schools.
