Numare Spectralab, Background, Mission, and Goal:

Numare Spectralab was established in 1992 to provide NMR spectroscopy services to chemical researchers and developers in the New York metropolitan area. Numare Spectralab was set up by Lawrence Byrnes. Lawrence studied experimental NMR spectroscopy under professors Edmund Malinowski and Ajay Bose in the Chemistry department of the Stevens Institute of Technology. He performed routine one and two dimensional experiments for Dr. Bose and his research group. Seeing first hand the role that NMR spectroscopy was having in solving problems in synthetic organic chemistry led to his decision to setup an independent NMR laboratory. Numare Spectralab came into existence on October 20, 1992. The laboratory's instrumentation was installed in the summer of 1994 by NMR systems engineers from Bruker Instruments Inc. The laboratory was operational in early autumn of the same year. 

Numare Spectralab moved from its original location in Berkeley Heights, New Jersey to its new permanent location in Kintnersville, Pennsylvania in mid October 2004.  The move was completed by technicians from M. R. Resources  Inc. of Gardner, Massachusetts.  The move, originally estimated by M. R. Resources technicians to require approximately two weeks, took over four months to complete.  Numare Spectralab continues to be managed by Lawrence Byrnes.

Numare Spectralab's mission and goal is to provide its customers with the fastest and the most reliable NMR spectral data acquisition and processing service available anywhere. Our service price schedule is modest enough to allow any chemical research, formulation, or manufacturing laboratory to have access to this indispensable analytical technique. We will tackle any problem from the most routine QA/QC request to the most exotic structural determination request with the same enthusiasm and determination.
