Mary Ellen Curtin:
Biography
I am 47 years old, and I've lived with my husband Dirk Goldgar in Hopewell Township for 17 years. We have two children: one in Hopewell Elementary School and one in Timberlane Middle School. I work as the business manager for my husband's software consulting firm, DataGnostics. I have an undergraduate degree from Princeton and a Master's from the University of Pennsylvania, both in population biology. Since college I have worked for the most part free-lance as a science writer, editor, indexer (especially for Yale University Press), and book reviewer (especially for Amazon.com). I'm also an independent scholar, a member of the Popular Culture Association, and I'm currently editing a scholarly book about stories written by fans of popular TV shows.
