Combat
weapon speed and dex mod are on the character sheets
initiative roll is d6: (1=+2, 2=+1, 3 or 4=0, 5=-1, 6=-2)
| Weapon | Speed | S-M

| barbed dagger | 2 | d4+2 | d3+2 | if hit with 17+, Open Doors in 10th segment to remove and roll for damage again, else stuck until end of combat. Cannot use dex AC bonus while holding on. |
Spears and javelins can only be thrown underwater with the aid
of a spear thrower, which takes a full 10 segments to prepare.
This can be done before the first round if there is time to prepare.
Spears and javelins get both strength and dex bonus to hit when
thrown.

Nets are 6' hexagonal with 1/2 lb weights at the 6 corners and
have mesh that is 2 inches square. They are thrown in combat with
speed 8, but require enough room to throw. They may be thrown
a number of feet equal to the attacker's strength. If the defender
is hit, but not surprised, they may make a dex check to avoid
the net. The range modifies the save (1-5ft=-1, 6-10ft=0, 11-15ft=+1,16-18=+2)
and if the defender performed any other non-dodging actions that
turn, the save is at -4.
The victim of a net attack is trapped until 1-2 rounds is spent gaining freedom. While trapped, they suffer -4 AC and -4 to hit.
Spell Memorization
Spells of 1-2 level require 4 hours of rest and 15 mins/spell level
Spells of 3+ level require 6 hours of rest and 15 mins/spell level
Movement
When you tell the DM your movement, remember to include the third dimension. If you don't tell us you're swimming up or down, we'll assume that you're staying on the same level. Think of it like flying!
Mass
Objects have the same mass as you're familiar with, but we'll
consider "weight" to be the force gravity exerts objects
relative to support from the water. The weight of an object depends
how bouyant the object is:
| Bouyancy | Relative Weight | Max Fall Rate (depends on shape) |
| Very (balloon) | -normal | -400'/min |
| Quite (wood) | - 1/2 normal | -200'/min |
| Sort of (witches) | - 1/6 normal | -100'/min |
| Even | 0 | 0 |
| Sort of solid (you) | 1/6 normal | 100'/min |
| Almost solid (clay pot) | 1/2 normal | 200'/min |
| Solid (rocks) | normal | 400'/min |
Sea-humanoids are "Sort of solid", but many of the things
you carry are solid, so the average is somewhere around 1/4 relative
weight.
