Story
Reunicon I was to set the stage witha first class adventure. The party
was to locate the missing pieces of a magical rod and use the
re-assembled rod to defeat a most terrible and foul creature. The
pieces were hidden on several different islands and the party had to
travel via a viking longship to these islands and brave the encounters
there to win back the lost pieces. With the help of Carlson, the aged
cleric, the party did battle with giant scorpions, a demon-summoning
witch, an evil mummy, nasty biting gold coins, and a terrible submarine
creature to finally find the pieces of the rod. The pieces were hidden
inside of clay balls and in one instance the affor mentioned mummy
switched a rib bone with the rod section; the actual rod piece serving
the mummy as a rib. The location of the last island was hidden and it
took a great deal of map-reading talent (or do I mean skill?) to find
the last piece. With the rod re-assembled one of the parties returned
to do battle wi! th the dread demon creature. The creature was
defeated with only one lasting injury to a party member, an eye lost to
the sea.
